The marked pickleball court measures 44 feet long x 20 feet wide (13.41 x 6.10 meters). Divided in half for net placement, each side features striping to indicate serving lines, non-volley zones, and bold striping around the perimeter.

Clay Courts: The porous nature of clay promotes high ball bounce, consistent surface traction, enhanced joint cushioning, and a slower ball speed. The balanced nature of clay or synthetic varieties like Har-Tru provides a less intimidating surface experience, making clay varieties a great choice for intermediate-level play. Despite these beneficial qualities, clay courts require frequent maintenance and are not as durable as hard court varieties.
