Valley Forge Military College Baseball Field
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed construction of the baseball field at Valley Forge Military Academy in Wayne, PA. This marks the second new construction project we’ve performed for the school, having previously constructed the school’s track and field. This project consisted of several phases, starting with the excavation of the existing grass infield. Next, a stormwater drainage system was installed, and the newly constructed stone sub-base was laser graded. Following that, Keystone installed split-film synthetic turf for the field. Design elements include batter’s boxes, catcher’s box, a portable turf pitcher’s mound, and a double overhead batting tunnel system. Additionally, new chain-link fencing and backstopper fencing were installed.
