The Proving Grounds – Sports Complex
Keystone Sports Construction recently finished renovations to Turf Field One for The Proving Grounds in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. The Proving Grounds boasts eight outdoor sports fields with more than 80 acres of outdoor turf, along with an indoor sports facility. This marks the second project Keystone Sports Construction has had with The Proving Grounds. The project was initiated by removing and disposing of existing turf, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. After laser grading the base, new Momentum Pro slit film synthetic turf from Shaw Sports Turf was installed. Design elements from the project included inlaid sports lines for soccer, mini soccer, field hockey, and men’s and women’s lacrosse.
