Shamokin Area School District
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the stadium track for the Shamokin Area School District. The school district covers the city of Shamokin and the townships of Coal, East Cameron, and Shamokin. The project was initiated with the removal of the existing synthetic running track surface and high jump asphalt. Modifications were then made to the long jump, high jump, and triple jump pit areas. New pavement and Rekortan synthetic track surfacing were installed. Purple synthetic track exchange zones were installed, and striping was then applied to the event markings and track lane lines. Sand was then added to the appropriate jumping areas.
