Keystone Sports Construction recently completed a stadium turf field replacement at Middletown High School North in Middletown, New Jersey.
The Client
Middletown Township School District serves the Middletown community in New Jersey. Its High School North is home to the Lions, an identity reflected in the stadium field’s “NORTH” and “LIONS” end zone lettering.
The Challenge
The replacement required protection of the existing track, recovery of existing infill, and laser grading of the stone base before installation of the new turf. The field design also needed to accommodate several sports and the school’s graphics.
Construction Process
The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. Keystone then laser graded the existing stone base. A slit film synthetic turf system was then installed.
