Mercersburg Academy
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the auxiliary multi-purpose field for Mercersburg Academy located in Franklin County in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania. Mercersburg Academy was founded in 1893 and provides educational and athletic opportunities at their campus which sits on 300 acres. The project was initiated with the reclamation and recycling of existing infill, followed by the removal of existing turf. The stone base was then laser graded, and new Astroturf RootZone 3D3 synthetic turf was installed. Design elements from the project included a midfield logo along with inlaid sports lines for soccer, field hockey, and men’s and women’s lacrosse.
