Marywood University
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the turf field for Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The private Catholic University was established in 1915, originally hosting 34 students and now serving more than 2,800. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. The existing stone base was then laser graded. Keystone then installed Shaw Sports Turf’s top-tier Momentum Pro slit film turf system for the field. Design elements from the project include a midfield logo, “NCAA” lettering at the two corners above the logo, “MARYWOOD UNIVERSITY” lettering below the logo, and sports lines for soccer, men’s and women’s lacrosse, and field hockey.
