Lynchburg City Schools – Heritage High School

Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the turf field and baseball field at Heritage High School for the Lynchburg City Schools in Lynchburg, Virginia. The school district dates back to 1871 and consists of Heritage High School and E.C. Glass High School, both of which Keystone has provided services for. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf for both the turf field and the baseball field, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. The baseball field’s existing stone base was then laser graded. Afterward, Brock shock padding was installed for the baseball field. This project utilized Shaw Sports Turf Game On technology to design and install Legion Pro synthetic turf for both fields. Design elements for the turf field include a midfield logo, alternating green yard panels, colored endzones with “HERITAGE” lettering, and sports lines for football, soccer, and men’s lacrosse. Design elements for the baseball field include a midfield logo, green turf mowing patterns, and sports lines for baseball. Batter’s boxes, catcher’s box, and pitcher’s mound were also provided, and additional turf was installed for the batting cages.
