Karns City Area School District
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the turf field at Karns City High School for the Karns City Area School District in Karns City, Pennsylvania. The school district covers communities in three counties, serving students in Butler, Armstrong, and Clarion counties. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. Afterwards, the existing stone base was laser graded. This project utilized Shaw Sports Turf Game On technology to design and install Legion Pro dual-fiber synthetic turf. Design elements from the project include a midfield logo, alternating green yard-line panels, colored end zones with “KARNS CITY” and “GREMLINS” lettering, and sports lines for football and soccer. Additionally, new field goal posts with custom graphic pads were supplied and installed.
