Kane Area School District Design Build
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed a design-build project at the athletic stadium of Kane Area High School. Located in the rural area of McKean County and Elk County in northwestern Pennsylvania, it hosts a student body ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade. The project involved several phases, starting with the installation of a drainage system for storm management. Next a newly constructed stone sub-base was laser-graded before the installation of synthetic turf. Keystone installed Astroturf’s Rhino Blend Synthetic Turf, ensuring a high-quality playing surface. Furthermore, the track surface underwent milling and paving, followed by the application of Rekortan’s track surfacing material. Additional elements from the build include a custom “K” midfield logo, end zone lettering featuring “KANE” and “WOLVES,” sport lines for football, and soccer, and new fencing around the perimeter of the stadium.
