Keystone Sports Construction recently completed a design-build for Kane Area High School Athletic Stadium and Track in Kane, Pennsylvania.
The Client
Kane Area School District serves communities in McKean and Elk counties in northwestern Pennsylvania. The district provides education from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.
The Challenge
The project required coordinating field base preparation and turf installation with milling, paving, and resurfacing of the running track.
Construction Process
The project involved several phases, starting with the installation of a drainage system for storm management. Next a newly constructed stone sub-base was laser-graded before the installation of synthetic turf.
Keystone installed synthetic turf, ensuring a high-quality playing surface. Furthermore, the track surface underwent milling and paving, followed by the application of Rekortan’s track surfacing material.
New fencing was installed around the perimeter of the stadium.
