Jim Thorpe High School Design Build

The historic Jim Thorpe School District traditionally played home events on their natural grass surface stadium field.  Ongoing challenges related to drainage and maintenance remediation thereof, coupled with playability and player safety concerns, prompted the District to seek a solution that remedied those challenges and provided a showcase facility that aligned with the heritage of their storied program.  Keystone Sports Construction was contracted in a Design/Build capacity and managed the design, permitting submittals and approvals at the local and state level.  KSC then completed the field renovations, which included building a new drainage and stormwater management system, installation of the synthetic turf surface and installation of all new field lighting. The District opted to defer reconstruction of the running track to a future date.
