Fairview School District Stadium Field and Track
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the turf field and running track at Fairview High School for the Fairview School District in Fairview, Pennsylvania. Fairview secured the District 10 Class 3A baseball championship in 2023 and has repeatedly pushed its girls’ basketball team into the PIAA Class 4A quarterfinals in back-to-back seasons. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf and track, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill, after which the stone base was laser graded. This project utilized Shaw Sports Turf Game On technology to design and install Legion Pro dual fiber synthetic turf. Afterward, a two-component sandwich-style synthetic running track surfacing was installed in the running track. Additionally, Keystone mill and paved the existing track event areas, providing track surfacing. Design elements from the project included a midfield logo, D-zone logo, colored end zones with “FAIRVIEW” and “TIGERS” lettering, custom infield tiger mascot eyes, and tufted sports lines for football, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, and soccer. Additionally, new fencing was installed around the perimeter of the field.
