Edison Township High School Softball Field Design Build
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed a design-build project at Edison High School in Edison, New Jersey. This marks one of multiple projects for the high school, including renovations to their tennis courts, running track, and turf field. This design-build project consisted of several phases, starting with the demolition and excavation of the existing grass field. Next, a newly constructed stone sub-base was installed and laser graded, along with the installation of a drainage system. Following that, Keystone installed Shaw Sports Turf’s top-tier Legion Pro dual-fiber turf for the green, TruHop slit film turf for the infield, and Momentum Pro slit film turf for the warning track.
Design elements include sports lines for softball and a midfield logo. Additionally, concrete pads and modular dugouts were installed for the dugout sections, and backstop fencing was installed.
