Crestwood Area School District

Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the turf field and running track at Crestwood High School for the Crestwood School District in Mountaintop, Pennsylvania. The Crestwood field hockey team has won four state titles (1988,1999, 2003, 2004), the second most in the state of Pennsylvania. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf and track, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. Afterward, two-component sandwich-style synthetic running track surfacing was installed in the running track. This project utilized Shaw Sports Turf Game On technology to design and install Legion Pro dual-fiber synthetic turf after grading the base. Design elements from the project included a midfield logo, alternating green yard lines, colored endzones with “CRESTWOOD” lettering, and sports lines for football, soccer, field hockey, and men’s and women’s lacrosse. The running track included red surfacing with black exchange zones.
