Caven Point Athletic Complex
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the multisport turf field at the Caven Point Athletic Complex in Jersey City, New Jersey. The complex is a central spot for local high schools and the Jersey City Board of Education for athletics. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. This project utilized Shaw Sports Turf Game On technology to design and install Legion Pro synthetic turf for the football and soccer fields. Additionally, Legion synthetic turf was installed for the belly of the football and soccer field, Legion Pro for the outfield and green infield, TruHop for the infield, and Momentum for the warning track. Design elements from the project include a midfield logo, two logos at the 20-yard lines, endzones with “Jersey City” lettering, and sports lines for baseball, football, and soccer. Additionally, new goal posts were supplied and installed.
