Project Summary

Keystone Sports Construction recently completed new construction of two pickleball courts for the Borough of Carroll Valley in Carroll Valley, Pennsylvania.

The Client

Carroll Valley is located in southwestern Adams County, Pennsylvania. The borough’s landscape includes farmland, orchards, woods, meadows, and mountain slopes.

The Challenge

The project required preparing a new court site, establishing the stone and asphalt foundations, and coordinating surfacing, fencing, and equipment installation for two pickleball courts.

Construction Process

The project began with excavation and initial sitework, followed by installation, grading, and compaction of the stone base. An asphalt base was then installed for the courts.

After the asphalt cured, the courts received acrylic resurfacer and color coating in the inbounds, non-volley, and out-of-bounds areas. Nets, posts, center straps, and anchors were installed. Keystone installed black vinyl chain-link fencing around and between the courts.
