Canisius High School

Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the turf field and running track for Canisius High School in West Seneca, New York. Canisius has won the Monsignor Martin Athletic Association’s Supremacy Cup in all but two years since 2000, showing sustained performance in its athletic programs. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf and track, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill, after which the stone base was laser graded. Afterward, a two-component sandwich-style synthetic running track surfacing was installed in the running track. Keystone then installed Shaw Sports Turf’s top-tier SpikeZone Pro turf system for the field.   Design elements from the project included a midfield logo, alternating green yard lines, colored endzones with “CANISIUS” and “CRUSADERS”  lettering, and sports lines for football, soccer, and men’s lacrosse.
