Caesar Rodney School District – W.B. Simpson Elementary School
Keystone Sports Construction recently completed construction of the hardwood gymnasium floors for W.B. Simpson Elementary School, located in Wyoming, Delaware. The school is a public elementary school in the Caesar Rodney School District that emphasizes a safe and nurturing classroom environment and is a national Blue Ribbon school. The project was initiated with the installation of the subfloor. Afterward, maple wood flooring was installed. The floor was then sanded down, sealed, painted, and coated with two coats of MFMA-certified polyurethane. Design elements from this project include a midfield “CR” logo, side-court logos, “CAESAR RODNEY” lettering behind the backboards, “RIDERS” side-court lettering, and sports lines for basketball and volleyball. Additionally, ADA-compliant ramps were installed, and volleyball sleeves and plates were provided.
