Bryn Mawr College – Applebee Field
Keystone Sports Construction recently finished renovations to Applebee Field, located at Bryn Mawr College. Founded in 1885, Bryn Mawr College is a women’s liberal arts college in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. The scope of work on this project included laser grading of the preexisting stone base, as well as the reclamation and recycling of the current infill. Additionally, it involved the removal and replacement of the existing turf field with Astroturf’s top-tier synthetic turf system, Astroturf Rootzone 3D3 Blend. Design elements from the project include inlaid lettering with the words “OWLS” along the the sidelines, and sport lines for soccer and women’s lacrosse.
