Keystone Sports Construction recently completed renovations to the multisport turf field at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Originally an all-women’s school in 1908, this co-ed university has had 308 student-athletes named to All-American teams. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf, along with reclaiming and recycling the existing infill. Keystone then installed Shaw Sports Turf’s top-tier Legion+ turf system for the field and Elevate turf systems for the sidelines. Design elements from the project include a midfield logo, “EAGLES” sideline lettering, and sports lines for field hockey, men’s lacrosse, and women’s lacrosse.
