West Jefferson Hills School District
Keystone Sports Construction recently finished renovations to the turf field at Thomas Jefferson High School for the West Jefferson Hills School District in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. Projections from the Pennsylvania Department of Education predict a more than 10% enrollment increase in the school district by 2028. West Jefferson Hills is the only school district in Allegheny County with a projected double-digit enrollment boost in that time period. The project was initiated with the removal and disposal of existing turf and infill. This project utilized Shaw Sports Turf Game On technology to design and install Legion Pro dual-fiber synthetic turf. Design elements from the project included a midfield logo, colored end zones with “JAGUARS” lettering, and tufted sports lines for football and soccer.
